2022 NAEAA Conference

You are cordially invited to attend the 13th Annual NAEAA Conference May 31st-June 2nd, hosted by Utah State University in beautiful Logan, Utah!  


NAEAA Annual Conferences are designed to advance the equine academic discipline through increased cooperation and communication, and the 2022 Conference is no exception! Come join colleagues and friends as we discuss current and future issues in undergraduate academic equine programs, explore effective teaching strategies, and work together to build tools and resources that increase student learning and programmatic sustainability.

Registration

Conference registration includes all meals (Tuesday evening reception, all day Wednesday, and Thursday through midday). Both PayPal and credit cards are accepted using the registration form below.


Early Bird Registration (before May 1, 2022)

  • Current Members + 1-Year Membership (New or Renewal) $150

  • Students (undergraduate and graduate) $0

Travel to Logan:

Logan, Utah is located approximately 80 miles (130 km) north of Salt Lake City, the nearest major city. For attendees flying to the conference, car rental is available at the Salt Lake City International Airport (SLC) and can be booked directly through various national carriers. If you are interested in carpooling to and from the conference from Salt Lake City, please note this on your registration form. We will attempt to connect attendees with similar arrival and departure times for those interested in cost sharing. 


Lodging:

There are several hotels in the Logan area and rooms can be booked directly by attendees. Reduced cost lodging is available in the dormitories on campus. Dorm rooms are part of a shared living suites with four bedrooms (up to two people in each room) kitchenette, living room, and two bathrooms. Please note on your registration form if you would like a single (private) or double (shared) occupancy room. If the latter, please specify the person you plan to share the room with, or indicate if you would like assistance in finding a roommate during the conference. 

  • Single Occupancy (Private) Dorm Room $56 per night

  • Double Occupancy (Shared) Dorm Room $28 per night 


Parking:

All parking lots on campus are gated, so you must pay to exit with your vehicle. Parking on campus is $10/day. Please note on your registration form how many days’ worth of parking you require. If you are unsure (e.g., you may be carpooling, but don’t know yet) you can pay this at a later date without penalty.
